Chennai Meteorological Center has said that moderate rain is likely to occur in Tamil Nadu from Monday (November 4) to Saturday (November 9).
A press release issued in this regard:
Atmospheric low circulation prevails over South Kerala coastal areas and adjoining areas. Due to this, from Monday (Nov.4) to Saturday (Nov.9), moderate rain with thunder is likely to occur at a couple of places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
Also, moderate rain with thunder is likely to occur in Chennai and Buk areas on Monday (Nov 4) and Tuesday (Nov 5).
Rainfall: Maximum rainfall of 160 mm has been recorded in Kanyakumari district Kottar in Tamil Nadu till Sunday morning. Also Nilgiris - 140, Sothupparai (Theni) - 120, Myladi (Kanyakumari), Coonoor (Nilgiris) - 110 each and various districts have reported a certain amount of rain.
